explained that the applicant is making some changes; and the committee is
awaiting the substitute. No action taken on bill. Public hearing
opened. There were six speakers (Dean Jones, Donald Strong, Donnie Spicer,
Hilda Sontag, and Patricia Key) in opposition. The citizens expressed concern
about the applicant’s continuous disregard of rules and regulations
(obtaining permits); verbal threats and animated gestures against their personal
safety; parking issues; and damage to a fence impacting nearby park.
Additionally, a request was made to place moratorium on project until a
resolution has been made. Pictures were provided depicting parking issues. CM Joost
requested an update from Mr. Tom Goldsbury on the specific action taken to
address the recent violations. In response to CM Boyer request, Mr. Huxford
will include a list of all Code violations, citations, notices and actions on

demolition. The committee inquired
