LUZ COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

 

August 5, 2014

Attendance:  Council Members Ray Holt (Chair), Jim Love

 

Also: Folks Huxford and Bruce Lewis – Planning Department; Philip Zamarron – Legislative Services Division; Yvonne Mitchell – Council Research Division

Chairman Holt called the meeting to order at 3:07 p.m. CM Holt requested Mr. Huxford to review the marked agenda which contained 20 items marked for deferral, 2 items ready for action, 8 public hearings to be opened and continued, and 5 items for second reading and re-referral.

 

2014-143 (rezoning property on Trout River Drive): This bill is marked open and continued at the request of the applicant. CM Holt commented no action would be taken on bill at the meeting.  In the event there are several speakers, they will be allowed one minute for comments since no action will be taken. Additional comments may be made at the next meeting.

 

2014-332 (rezoning 6765 Dunn Avenue): Mr. Huxford stated CM Lee has requested a deferral with the Planning Commission; therefore, bill would not be back before committee sooner than September.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
