LUZ COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

 

March 18, 2014

Attendance:  Council Members Lori Boyer (Chair), Jim Love, Don Redman, Robin Lumb

Chairwoman Boyer called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. CM Boyer reviewed the marked agenda which contained 12 items marked for deferral, 23 items ready for action, 13 public hearings to be opened and continued and 1 item for second reading and re-referral.

 

2013-627 (small-scale amendment to 3160 Division Street):  Mr. Huxford reported that the District Council Member is working with owner.  It is a possibility that bill will be withdrawn.

 

2014-048 (rezoning of 8789 San Jose Blvd): Mr. Lewis reported that the substitute is not ready at this time.

 

2014-099 (rezoning property in S/S Cruz Road between Univ Blvd & Spring Glen Road): Applicant requested deferral.  The public hearing will be opened and continued until 4/1/14.

 

2014-101 (rezoning 10140 Hood Road & 10202 Old Hood Way): CM Boyer will be meeting with Mr. Mann and his client regarding Black Forest on Monday.

 

2012-105 & 106 (fair share assessments with N.G. Wade Investment): Mr. Gabriel reported both bills are ready for action and have amendments from TEU committee meeting.

 

2014-132 (proposed large scale amendment at 7981 Baymeadows Circle W): CM Boyer reported this bill will be moved to front of agenda as requested.

 

2014-164 (amendment of dancing entertainment establishment code): Mr. Gabriel will provide additional information about the bill with possible amendment suggestions.

 

There is a workshop at 4:30p.m.  The topic is: How are mobility scores calculated? Information will be provided by Lurise Bannister, Steve Smith and Gary Kresel from the Planning Department.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:09 p.m.
