Attendance: Council Members John Crescimbeni (Chair), Lori Boyer; Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy; Paige Johnston, Lawsikia Hodges, Office of General Counsel; Margo Klosterman, Mayor’s Office; Daphne Colbert, Regulatory Compliance; Elaine Spencer, Housing & Community Development; Dan MacDonald, Connie Holt, Executive Council Assistants; Jessica Morales, Legislative Assistant, John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 1:34 P.M. and reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office. There were four (4) items ready for action; five (5) items that were being deferred; and five (5) items seconded and re-referred.
On Item #6, ORD 2014-188, Approp $11,269.24….by Reallocating Unspent Funds from Contract Admin & engineer/Design Acct to Other Constrn Acct to align Funds with Appropriate Task…the Administration was requesting a deferral because Council Member E. Denise Lee and Ms. Elaine Spencer had not had an opportunity to meet as requested at the previous Committee meeting.
The Chair indicated that he expected to take Item #9, ORD 2014-258, Approp $75,000 from Dist 5 Loblolly Rec/Parks Acct to Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club, Inc. to Assist Funding Constn of “Earl Johns Park – Soccer Field” Proj…… first, as a courtesy to Council Member Lori Boyer, the measure’s sponsor, who will be attending the Committee meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:39 P.M.
