The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:34 P.M. and asked Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy to review the marked agenda that had been prepared by his office. There were five (5) items ready for action, one of which had an emergency action request; fourteen (14) items being deferred; and two (2) items being seconded and re-referred.
Mr. Billy indicated that Item #2, ORD-MC 2013-493, Amend Chapt 656, Part 13 (Sign Regs) Ord Code….marked for deferral; a noticed meeting is scheduled for 4:00 P.M. later in the day to further discuss issues raised in the proposed legislation.
On Item #22, ORD 2014-635, Auth a Use License Agreemt with Sunshine Soccer Group, LLC, to Auth Team to Play its Home Schedule North American Soccer League Games at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville…., it was announced that the Finance Committee would be having a special meeting to assess issues raised about the proposed legislation on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, prior to the Council meeting.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:37 P.M.
