The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:31 P.M. and asked Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy to review the marked agenda that had been prepared by his office.  There were five (5) items ready for action; seven (7) items being deferred; twelve (12) items that were being seconded and re-referred and one (1) item had an emergency passage request.

 

On Item #1, ORD 2013-420, Approp $2,444,808 from Bob Hayes/Northwest Community Ctr to “Legends Community Ctr Waterpark” Proj for Constrn…..the announced that it was being deferred since the measure’s sponsor, Council Member Brown, was away on military duty.

 

On Item #4, ORD-MC 2014-185, Repealing Sec. 30.704 (JHFA), Ord Code; Create New Chapt 52 (Jax Housing Finance Auth)…., the Chair indicated that the item was being deferred at the request of the Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority.

 

On Item #5, ORD-MC 2014-305, Amend Chapt 615 (docking), Sec 615.102, to Change the Time Limit for Docking at Pearl St for Designated Passenger Loading Y Unloading Zones from 10 Minutes to 30 Minutes…., Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston reported that the measure had been previously deferred pending action by the Jacksonville Waterways Commission that had not had an opportunity to consider the matter.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:36 P.M.
