Meeting Convened: 8:33 a.m.

Chairman Gulliford reviewed the Council Auditor’s marked agenda which included 8 items marked for deferral, 22 items ready for action (1 as a substitute, 1 as an emergency) and 6 items for second reading and re-referral.

2013-566 (authorizing General Counsel to initiate lien foreclosure process): the Chairman will move the item to the top of the agenda to accommodate Council Member Bishop.

2014-607 (confirming appointment of Arthur Finley to the Civil Service Board): the administration requests withdrawal of the bill.

Chairman Gulliford asked if the Rules agenda could be re-ordered to place all appointments at the top of the agenda for easy reference. Rachel Merritt will convey the request to the Legislative Services Division and Peggy Sidman will be consulted about the Council Rule that covers committee agendas.
