The Chair called the agenda meeting to order at 1:29 P.M.
Philip Peterson reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office and indicated that there were seven (7) items ready for action; four (4) items being deferred; and five (5) items being seconded and re-referred.
Council Member Lori Boyer announced that Item #5, ORD-MC 2014-553, Amend Sec 741.107 (Violation of Zero-Tolerance for Litter Law), Chapt 741 (Zero Tolerance on Litter), Ord Code, to Increase the Fines for Snipe Sign Violations., was going to be deferred in Finance on Tuesday morning but that she had an amendment forthcoming that she wanted to explain during the Committee meeting. The Chair indicated that if the item was going to be deferred in Finance, he thought that it ought to be deferred in TEU, as well.
On Item #6, ORD 2014-580, Approp $5,500,000 from Southbank CRA/TID…Council Member Greg Anderson indicated that had some questions regarding funding sources that he would be raising during the Committee meeting.
The Chair announced that in his capacity as a Council Member representing the City on the (Northeast Florida) Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), he wanted to remind everyone that the TPO is currently putting its 5-year Plan together and that it was imperative that communities with transportation project proposals forward those proposed projects to the TPO as soon as possible.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:36 P.M.
