Meeting Convened:
9:00 a.m.
Chairman Gulliford called the meeting to order and asked the
attendees to introduce themselves. He reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda
which included 22 items marked for deferral, 16 items ready for action (1 for
withdrawal, 3 requested as emergencies) and 21 items for second reading and
re-referral.
2014-548 (amending the Ordinance Code to provide a funding
mechanism for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid): the administration requests
withdrawal of the bill; the Chair deferred the bill for one more cycle.
2015-422 (Ordinance Code amendment regarding eligibility of
administrators of the Police and Fire Pension Fund for membership in the
General Employees’ Pension Plan): the bill will be deferred.
