Meeting Convened: 8:34 a.m.

 

Chairman Clark called the meeting to order and reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 20  items marked for deferral, 21  items ready for action (1 as a withdrawal) and 19 items for second reading and re-referral.

 

2014-141 (appropriation funds for ITD internal services): The bill is being withdrawn to allow all parties to straighten out concerns regarding internal service charges. According to Mr. Tom Goldsbury, the improvements are still underway.

 

2015-303 (appropriation of funds for Treaty Oak Improvements): The bill is a part of the CIP. The projects listed are completed and due for closure. The residual funds will be reverted back to DIA to reallocate to similar improvement projects within the scope of the CRA plan. Council Member Boyer will provide further detail in committee meeting.

 

2015-304 (amending Chapter 121 police & firefighters pension plan): There is a notice meeting for Wednesday, May 20th at 12:15 p.m. in Suite 425 Conference Room A. Council Member Boyer commented meeting may be changed depending on actions of the Canvasing Board after the election.

 

Chairman Clark will forward the committee the information received from McGladrey. He stated action is required on Tuesday night or within one cycle in order to ensure audit is completed.
