LUZ COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

Attendance:  Council Members Scott Wilson (Chair), Lori Boyer, Danny Becton, and Joyce Morgan

 

Absent: Council Members Aaron Bowman, Katrina Brown, and Jim Love

Council Member Wilson called the meeting to order at 3:00p.m. Mr. Bruce Lewis reviewed the marked agenda which contained 21 items marked for deferral, 10 items ready for action (includes 4 withdrawals), 8 items marked to be opened and continued, and 5 items marked for second reading and re-referral.

 

2014-696 (Rezoning 3515 Rosselle Street): Mr. Folks Huxford stated the Planning & Development Department received additional information about this application and will be presenting a revised opinion.

 

2015-447 (Rezoning 10695 Hampton Road):  This bill will be heard at the beginning of the agenda per CM Schellenberg’s request.

 

2015-486 (Rezoning 5612 & 5630 Summerall Road): Public notices were not published through new process. Therefore, new dates had to be rescheduled and noticed. All appropriate entities have been contacted. Ms. Grandin will inquire whether the 350 Notice has to be resent. However, the bill must be heard again before the Planning Commission.

 

The next workshop on medical marijuana will be held on September 15, 2015 at 4:00p.m.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 3:11 p.m.
