“complimentary” rather than “free”. Council Member John Crescimbeni provided background the
legislation. He explained that the
current vendor had been unable to meet required payments to the City. In lieu of full payments, Mr. Crescimbeni
proposed that City employees be provided a discount for use at the 9-hole golf
course. He explained that the discount
price for use of the golf course would be reviewed and evaluated after a
year. Council Member Reggie Brown
offered a friendly amendment to Mr. Crescimbeni’s whereby “complimentary”
would replace “free” characterizing the discounted cards for City employees’

been raised in Public Comment at the last Council Meeting. Jessica Baker explained that a written report
on the subject matter should be available in the coming week.
