The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:01 A.M. and proceeded to review the marked agenda that the Council Auditor’s Office had prepared. There were four (4) items ready for action, eight (8) items being deferred, eight (8) items being seconded and re-referred, two (2) items being withdrawn; there were two (2) requests for emergency passage on two (2) items.
On item #3, ORD 2015-360, Closing & Abandoning &/or Disclaiming Portion of an Opened & Improved R/W on Van Wert Ave bet Richmond St & the St. Johns River…., Council Member Jim Love, the sponsor, indicated that an amendment would be offered at the Committee meeting to return the closure application fee to the applicant.
Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston explained what Item #8, ORD-MC 2015-425, Amend Sec 655.304 (Deposit of Fair Share Assessmts; Approp of Funds)..entailed. She explained that this legislation emanated from the Special CIP Committee’s deliberations.
On Item #12, RESO 2015-476 , re Univ Blvd, Merrill & Arlington Rd Corridors, Finding that Slum Blighted Conditions Exist…., Council Member Lori Boyer explained why additional exhibits had to be added regarding the Arlington CRA boundaries. Karen Nasrallah, Office of Economic Development, indicated that she would have new maps illustrating the CRA boundaries to distribute at the Committee meeting.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 9:10 A.M.
