Attorney Paul Harden, agent for the Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC, explained what the amendment entailed and addressed questions that Council Member Greg Anderson raised concerning the obligations of SMG and the Jaguars for expenses for the Jaguars’ use of the stadium, field and facilities for non-operation events.  Council Member Anderson reiterated Council Member Lori Boyers’ concern that the City would not be obligated or responsible for any expenses incurred at the facility for Jaguar non-operation events.

Assistant General Counsel John Sawyer explained and clarified the components of the amendment, as well.

Assistant General Counsel Lawsikia Hodges explained what the substitute entailed and the attached documents.  Council Member John Crescimbeni sought clarification in the language; he was particularly concerned with the “City’s intent” with regard to the City’s obligations.  Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office, explained what the substitute entailed, as well.
