The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:33P.M. and asked Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy to review the marked agenda that had been prepared by his office.  Mr. Billy indicated that there were ten (10) items ready for action; eleven (11) items being deferred; and eight (8) items being seconded and re-referred.

 

Chief Judge Mark Mahon informed the Chair that he was here to answer any question on Item #9, ORD 2015-96, Approp $43,011….to the Circuit Court-Admin Judicial Support…The Chair asked the Judge if it was his intention to attend the Committee meeting.  The Judge replied that he would be at the meeting if that were the pleasure of the Chair.  Council Member Greg Anderson asked the Judge to identify the type of equipment that would be purchased.  The Judge described the type of audio visual aids and smart boards that would be purchased.

 

Though Agenda Item #25, ORD-MC 2015-213, Amend Secs 28.723 (Boating) 28.724 (Swimming & Beach Activities), & 616.119 (Swimming Prohibited in St Johns River where Posted), Ord Code, to allow  for Swimming by Authorized City Permit, was being deferred, the Chair indicated that Mr. Joe Alabiso, representing Jumping Fish, would be at the Committee meeting to remark on the proposed ordinance amendment.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:44 P.M.
