The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:34 P.M. and asked Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy to review the marked agenda that had been prepared by his office. There were eight (8) items ready for action; fifteen (15) items being deferred; and eight (8) items being seconded and re-referred.
On Item #6, ORD 2015-15, Approp $58,220 from NW Jax Economic Dev Fund as Grant to HDW Partners II, Inc for Off-Site Infrastructure for Dev & Constrn of a new…Church’s Chicken Restaurant at 1855 Dunn Ave…., Teresa Eichner advised the Chair that she had not heard from Council Member E. Denise Lee who had previously raised concerns about the proposed legislation. Ms. Eichner indicated that the Committee might have to defer the item.
On Item #23, ORD 2015-114, Auth a Modification to the Home Loan Agreemts with the Towers of Jacksonville, Inc…, the Chair announced that he had assured Attorney Steve Diebenow, agent for Baptist Towers, that this measure would be the first item taken up in the Committee meeting.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:36 P.M.
