Attendance: Council Members Reggie Brown (Chair), Al Ferraro, Lori Boyer, Joyce Morgan, Scott Wilson; Latanya Peterson, Mayor’s Office; Paige Johnston, Wade McArthur, Office of General Counsel; Phillip Peterson, Council Auditor’s Office; Lin White, John Jones, Public Works; Attorney T. R. Hainline; A.G. Gancarski, Florida Politics; Katrin MacDonald, Legislative Assistant; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. and asked Phillip Peterson to review the Marked Agenda that the Council Auditor’s Office had prepared. There was one (1) item ready for action, four (4) items being deferred and four (4) items being seconded and re-referred.
Mr. Peterson explained that Item #2, ORD-MC 2015-361, Amend Chapt 804 (Jax Traffic Code), Sec 904.709 (Unlawful to alter License Plates, Citations, Mobile Home Stickers, or Validation Stickers;….was being deferred to enable the NICE Special Ad Hoc Committee an opportunity to review the proposed legislation.
Council Member Al Ferraro wanted to know what Item #8, ORD 2015-698, Superseding Ord 2011-430-E; Auth Mayor & Corp Secretary to Execute & Deliver from Time to Time a new Standard Agreemt for Constrn & Main of Improvemts with FDOT on FDOT R/Ws with No Further Action by City Council Required…., entailed. Both Phillip Peterson and Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston explained why new agreements are reached from time to time.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:35 P.M.
