The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:32 P.M.

 

The Chair reviewed the agenda that the marked agenda that the Council Auditor’s Office had prepared.  There were four (4) items ready for action, four (4) items being deferred and four (4) items being seconded and re-referred.

 

ON Item #2, ORD 2015-313, Auth (1) a Non-Exclusive Grant of Easement to JEA a Utility Easemt & (2) Two Temp Constn Easemts, all in, over, & under Portions of Metro Park & Everbank Field Parking Lot “J” & needed to Support the JEA “42” Force Main River Crossing…. Jody Brooks explained what the ordinance and amendment entailed.  Jeff Foster, Chief, Solid Waste Division, Public Works Department, inquired as to whether or not anyone assessed the contamination issues at the site.  Elizabeth Dimeo indicated that the environmental staff at JEA was aware of the issue.  Council Member John Crescimbeni wondered whether there was the need to insert language in the ordinance to address environmental issues.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:38 P.M.
