(2) clarify work will be done prior to 2016 NFL season (3) clarify easements
will not interfere with 3rd party leases (4) clarify Metro Park
plan is compatible with easement area. Council Member Crescimbeni added a fifth (5th)
component to the amendment: to add language in the bill that addresses the environmental
clean-up issues that had been raised at the agenda meeting. Jim Robinson, Director, Public Works Department, fielded
questions and explained that his department has been working with the Parks,
Recreation & Community Services Department on issues that had been raised
regarding the easements. Council Member Lori Boyer explained issues that had been
raised in the Finance Committee’s deliberations on the bill earlier in the
day; she indicated that language characterizing the easements had to be
clarified. Assistant General Counsel Jody Brooks indicated that
language addressing the easement issues had been drafted subsequent to the
agenda meeting and explained the clarified language. |

JTA Vice President for Long-Range Planning, be invited to come before the TEU
Committee and address the issues raised in a recent lengthy article in the Finance News & Daily Record on how
JTA envisions plans and goals for the Skyway Express. The Chair indicated that he would arrange for
Mr. Thoburn’s presentation for the next Committee meeting.
