COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

Attendance: Council Member Tommy Hazouri (Vice Chair), Al Ferraro, Reggie Gaffney, Joyce Morgan; Council Member Lori Boyer was in attendance; Paige Johnston, Office of General Counsel; Jordan Elsbury, Administration; Phillip Peterson, Kim Taylor, Council Auditor’s Office; Katrin MacDonald, Legislative Assistant; John J. Jackson, Council Research Assistant. (see attached sign-in sheet for additional attendees).
The Vice Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. and asked Phillip Peterson to review the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office. Mr. Peterson indicated that there were nine (9) items that were ready for action, four (4) items being deferred two (2) items being seconded and re-referred; there was a request for emergency action on one (1) item.
On Item #3, ORD 2016-137, Transferring $479,929 in CDBG Funding Prev Provided for a Water Main Proj in the Larson Neighborhood to Ongoing Pine Forest Infrastructure Proj, Council Member Lori Boyer indicated that she would be available at the Committee meeting to explain this legislation and field questions. The Vice Chair, Mr. Hazouri, said that this item would be taken up first at the Committee meeting.
On Item#6, ORD 2016-350, Granting Appl of Masters Road, LLC for Initial CON for the Masters Road, LLC Florida Roads Clean Concrete Recycling Facility…, Mr. Peterson explained that though the item is marked for deferral, it would be ready for action in the next Committee cycle.
On Item #12, ORD 2016-359, ORD Amend Chapt 122 (Public Propty), Creating New Sec 122.110 (Skateboarding on Public Propty)….,Mr. Peterson explained that the item was being deferred at the request of the sponsor, Council Member Gulliford.
There being no further business, the Agenda Meeting was adjourned at 1:37 P.M.
