The Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:29 P.M. 

 

The Chair reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office.

There were seven (7) items ready for action; five (5) items that were being deferred; and two (2) items that were being seconded and re-referred.

 

The Chair announced that Item #4, ORD 2016-131, Approp $30,000 from Environmental Protection Bd (EPB) Trust Fund to (1) enable EPB Staff to Estab Partnership with U.S. Green Bldg Council…., was being deferred at the request of the Environmental Protection Board.

 

On Item #12, ORD 2016-180, Renaming a Segment of Gary St bet Hendricks Ave & Kings Rd to “Naugle Way”….., Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston explained that the street renaming had not been reviewed by the Historic Preservation Commission as required by the Municipal Code.  She further explained that the sponsor of the ordinance could move to defer the item until the Historic Preservation Commission has had an opportunity to review the proposed measure, or the sponsor could move to have that provision of the Code waived.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:33 P.M.
