Meeting Convened: 9:00 a.m.
Chairman Dennis called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves for the record. He announced that the meeting would begin with an update on the Loblolly Wetlands Mitigation Bank potential litigation; Deputy General Counsel Peggy Sidman said that the update would be given by General Counsel Jason Gabriel. The chairman also requested the administration to provide the committee with updates on the number of applications that have been received from citizens seeking Hurricane Irma financial assistance and on the number of applications for refunds of hurricane-related roofing and electrical repair building permits.
Mr. Dennis reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 5 items marked for deferral, 8 items ready for action (1 recommended for withdrawal, 1 requested for emergency action) and 6 items for second reading and re-referral.
