Meeting Convened: 9:02 a.m.
Chairman Dennis called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Mr. Dennis announced that the meeting would begin with a report from the Sheriff’s Office on inmate health care, followed by a report by the Council Auditor on Audit #800 – City Wire Transfers Audit. A third presentation not marked on the agenda will be a discussion of the reports provided by the independent authorities at the request of the Chair regarding the percentage of minority engineers in their workforce. Mr. Dennis reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 7 items marked for deferral, 32 items ready for action (1 requested as an emergency, 1 marked for withdrawal) and 12 items for second reading and re-referral.
