Meeting Convened:
8:31 a.m.
Chairwoman Brosche called the meeting to order and asked the
attendees to introduce themselves. The Chair announced that the administration
would be giving an update at the start of the meeting on the Loblolly Wetlands
Mitigation Bank issue, followed by Council Auditor Kirk Sherman presenting the
two audits released by his office last week - #790 (DAVID Compliance Audit –
Neighborhoods Department) and #791 (DAVID Compliance Audit – Clerk of the
Courts).
Ms. Brosche reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included
8 items marked for deferral, 15 items ready for action and 22 items for second
reading and re-referral.
The Special Meeting topic will be a response from the Office
of Economic Development to a recent national report on the transparency of
economic incentive programs and an update on the status of Enterprise Florida
in the Florida Legislature.
