Meeting Convened: 8:32 a.m.
Chairwoman Brosche called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Ms. Brosche reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 8 items marked for deferral, 21 items ready for action (3 requested as emergencies, 1 as a substitute) and 16 items for second reading and re-referral.
Ms. Brosche announced that the committee will receive its monthly update on activity in the Loblolly Wetlands Mitigation Bank. The special committee meeting today will take up the topic of potential delegation of the Council’s appropriation authority, followed, if time allows, by a return to the Jacksonville Children’s Commission’s budget.
