The Committee shall consider land use
and zoning matters, including zoning; preservation; conservation; building
codes; urban renewal; real estate; land use; land, water and wetlands
preservation; water supply issues; comprehensive planning; strategic planning;
current planning; growth management and implementation of state statutes
regarding same; Planning and Development Department; appeals from Planning
Commission decisions; growth management; transportation concurrency and
mobility; school concurrency; monitoring and implementation of the new State
growth management laws; actively participate in amending and updating
Jacksonville's Comprehensive Plan, including reviewing all text amendments and
Future Land Use Map Amendments to the comprehensive plan; and all related
subjects.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with
respect to any matter considered at such meeting, such person will need a
record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, such person may need to ensure
that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
RULE 4.505 DISRUPTION OF MEETING No member of the audience shall applaud nor make any noise or remarks that are audible to the
Committee that would indicate approval or disapproval of anything being
discussed. Any disregard of this rule may result in removal by the Sergeant at
Arms.

and a self-storage warehouse use are permitted, either separately or
together. 2. As to the self-storage use, the hours
of operation shall be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week. 3. As to the self-storage use, aluminum
gates shall secure the site and control access during the permitted hours of
operation. 4. As to the self-storage use,
conducting business out of a storage unit is prohibited. 5. As to the self-storage us, the only
permitted signage will be on the leasing office, be non-illuminated, and
limited to 10% of the wall area of the leasing office. 6. As to the self-storage use, the
storage buildings shall have either flat roofs with a parapet, or gabled or
hip roofs. 7. As to the self-storage use, an earth
tone color scheme, currently contemplated to be khaki for the buildings and
slate for the doors, will be utilized. 8. As to the self-storage use, an
uncomplimentary buffer (10’ landscaped strip, minimum 6’ screen by PVC vinyl
fence and minimum 85% opaque) will be provided in accordance with Section
656.1216 of the Code along Bennett Creek Drive, to include shade trees. Twice
the amount of minimum required plantings will be provided on the north and
west property lines, subject to the review and approval of the Planning and
Development Department. 9. The vinyl PVC fence color to be
approved by Sealy during the 10-set review process. This paragraph shall
apply to the fencing on the north and west property lines only. 10. No outside storage uses of any kind
shall be permitted. |

Department separate certification letters confirming that all horizontal and

10 foot wide undisturbed landscape buffer will be added to the rear of Lot 21
