In attendance: Council Members Danny Becton (Chair), Matt Schellenberg, Joyce Morgan, Jim Love, Reginald Gaffney

Also: Susan Grandin – Office of General Counsel; Jeff Clements and Colleen Hampsey– Council Research Division; Jessica Matthews – Legislative Services Division; Bill Killingsworth, Bruce Lewis and Kristin Reed – Planning and Development Department

Meeting Convened: 4:16 p.m.

Chairman Becton called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Bruce Lewis reviewed the marked agenda which included 11 items marked for deferral, 8 public hearings to be opened and continued, 8 items ready for action (1 as a substitute) and 12 items for second reading and re-referral.

2016-806 (rezoning at Pecan Park Road and I-95): Chairman Becton reported that he had met with the applicant earlier in the day and had concerns with some proposed uses. He would be meeting with the applicant again after the agenda meeting.

2016-807 (rezoning on Panther Creek Parkway): Council Member Ferraro requested an explanation of this proposal at the meeting.

2016-810 (minimum road frontage waiver on Rosemary Street): the bill needs to be deferred and re-advertised due to a change in the requested waiver.

2016-559 (designating Hemming Park as a local historic landmark): Susan Grandin said that the bill needed to have a public hearing opened and continued to February 22^nd.
