Presentation: Department of Health-
Updates
Alison Hewitt, Department of Health, spoke about preparation
for Hurricane Irma, in the event that it impacts the area. Shelters that are
equipped for special needs and those with health issues should be informed in
advance so they can better serve those in need. Ms. Hewitt also provided a Zika
update and said that there are no new cases in Duval County as of September 1st.
