Meeting Convened: 9:01 a.m.
Chairman Dennis called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves for the record. The chairman announced that the update on the Loblolly Wetlands Mitigation Bank potential litigation would be deferred, the Council Auditor would be giving an overview of a recently released audit report, and that the JEA would be making a presentation on its backflow prevention regulations.
Mr. Dennis reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 10 items marked for deferral, 13 items ready for action (1 for substitution and re-referral), and 9 items for second reading and re-referral.
Council Member Boyer announced that she would be distributing a redline copy of 2018-804 (amending the Zoning Code relating to digital signs in the Sports Complex) and would be moving that as a substitute.
