Chairman Schellenberg called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m., and reviewed the marked agenda which contained twenty-six (26) items marked for deferral, thirteen (13) items ready for action (one marked for withdrawal), thirteen (13) items marked to be opened and continued, and six (6) items marked for second reading and re-refer.

2017-343 (rezoning N/S of Collins Road): The bill is continued for one cycle and will be amended to a PUD.

2017-478 (admin deviation at 1596 Gately Road): The staff report will be emailed to committee members after the agenda meeting.

2017-578 (appeal of Final Decision of JHPC on COA-17-467): The appeal hearing is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. However, it may be continued pending discussions.

2017-751 (small scale amendment to S/S of Sunbeam Road, E/S of Craven Road): Council Member Boyer requested that staff be prepared to clarify the land use change as it relates to the specific portion of property described in written description.

2017-794 (amend Sec 111.546): The action for this bill is amend/move to adopt the Finance Committee amendment.

2017-795 (text amendment regarding Industrial Preservation): Mr. Lad Daniels requested a deferral for one cycle. He wants an opportunity to provide a historical perspective on the industrial overlay. Council Member Ferraro requested bill proceed with action. Chairman Schellenberg deferred the bill one cycle. If the chairman’s decision is appealed, each side will have three minutes to debate.

2017-802 (rezoning 4795, 2803, 4819, 4827, 4835, 4843, & 4811 Yacht Court): This bill requires an amendment to correct a scrivener’s error.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:17 p.m.
