Presentations:

  1. Alison Hewitt, Department of Health (DOH), provided an update on the Zika virus. In addition, she distributed a list of septic tanks in Districts 7, 8, 9, & 10. She was requested to provide a supplement list of all septic tanks (issues) for the entire city.

 

  1. Dr. Alesia Scott-Ford, HUD, provided information regarding the various programs under the umbrella of HUD. She stated that funds from HUD are distributed in all aspects of business. Some of the programs include Continua Care Funds, Multiple Family Housing, and 108 Loans. CM Dennis requested additional information on how CDBG funds could be distributed into small grants for small businesses.
