Attendance: Council Members Al Ferraro (Chair), Jim Love (Vice Chair), Anna Lopez Brosche, Danny Becton, Terrance Freeman; Council Member Lori Boyer was in attendance; Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Leeann Krieg, Administration; Jessica Matthews, Legislative Services Supervisor; Melanie Wilkes, Legislative Assistants; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair, Council Member Al Ferraro, called the agenda meeting to order at 1:32 P.M.
The Chair reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office. There were six (6) items ready for action, nine (9) items being deferred and three (3) items being seconded and re-referred.
Council Member Danny Becton indicated that Item #8, ORD-MC 2018-271, Amend Sec 654.111 (Design Standards: Streets), Chpt 654 Code of Subdiv Regs), Ord Code, add new Subsec (O) to require a minimum roadway width of 24 ft for residential roadways in residential developments in multi-step process…, is still being vetted, will next move on to the Planning & Development and should be before the Committee in two weeks’ time.
On Item #10, RESO 2018-553, supporting request to East Coast Greenway Alliance to consider refining the identified Spine Route of the East Coast Greenway to add the Core City of Jax to Coast Loop Trail Route…, the Chair announced that Council Member Scott Wilson would be bringing a map and an amendment to the Committee meeting. Council Member Boyer would be present as well to answer any questions.
On Item #15, RESO 2018-602, Designating Parcels on Kings Ave/N. Philips Hwy as a Brownfield Area for Environmental Rehab & Economic Dev…, the Chair announced that Council Member Boyer, sponsor of the measure, would be at the Committee meeting to answer questions.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:35 P.M.
