Attendance: Council Members Al Ferraro (Chair), Jim Love (Vice Chair), Anna Lopez Brosche, Scott Wilson, Danny Becton, Terrance Freeman; Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Leeann Krieg, Administration; Melanie Wilkes, Adri Maguire Segui Legislative Assistants; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair, Council Member Al Ferraro, called the agenda meeting to order at 1:31 P.M.
The Chair reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditor’s Office. There were fourteen (14) items ready for action, nine (9) items being deferred and five (5) items being seconded and re-referred.
The Chair announced that the Committee would take up Item #20 on the agenda first. Ordinance 2018-541, re Remediation of Contamination at site of former Manufactured Gas Plant Operated in and around What is now Confederate Park; Ratifying and Apv Execution of Settlement Agreemt
The Chair announced that the Committee would take up Item #21 second. Ordinance 2018-542, re Remediation of Contamination at site of Former Manufactured Gas Plant Operated in and around What is now Confederate Park; Ratifying and Apv Execution of Brownfield Site Rehabilitation Agreem.
The Chair announced that the Committee would take up Item #23 third. Ordinance 2018-556, re Remediation of Contamination at site of Former Manufactured Gas Plant Operated in and around What is now Confederate Park; Ratifying and Apv Execution of Settlement Agreemt & Release of Claims with Jax Hospitality Holdings, LL
The Chair indicated that there would be a representative from the Florida Department of Transportation at the Committee meeting to address questions that were raised at the last Committee meeting concerning repair work on Wonderwood Expressway.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:36 P.M.
