Bill Summary: This bill amends the development order for the Southeast Quadrant of Deerwood Park DRI (Development of Regional Impact) to incorporate certain proposed changes and modifications contained in the Notification of a Proposed Change to a Previously Approved Development of Regional Impact dated March 10, 2005. It is found and determined that the proposed changes do not constitute a substantial deviation under Florida Statutes. The provisions of Chapter 656, Ordinance Code, are made inapplicable to the extent such provisions may require the mailing of notices and posting of signs.

Background Information: GL National, Inc., the developer, has requested a change to amend the Master Plan Map H to add General Office uses to a parcel which is presently approved for Specialty Commercial uses only. If the proposed change is approved, both Specialty Commercial uses and General Office uses will be permitted on the parcel.
