Bill Summary: This ordinance appropriates $136,000 from the Water Sewer and Expansion Authority (WSEA) General Reserves account to provide funding to construct water and sewer infrastructure on Glendale Road in Council District 4.  The bill amends the 2006-2011 Five-Year Capital Improvement Program, approved by Ordinance 2006-789-E, to authorize Priority 1 Status for the “Glendale Road Water Project.”  The bill provides the WSEA resolution of support, as initiated by B. T. 07-082.

 

Background Information: This appropriation funds the completion of a proposed water infrastructure on Glendale Road in accordance with Article 26 of the Ordinance Code.  The appropriation will allow WSEA to make use of the funds previously appropriated of its Loan Pool for the purpose of providing infrastructure for water utilities to neighborhoods within the City that have requested such services.
