Bill Summary: The bill establishes the Beach Community Development District and defines the boundaries of the district. The bill also designates the initial members of the governing board to be Cynthia C. Jones, Kelly A. Kulinski, Barbara Moore, David M. Solomon, and Robert A. Greenwood. Lastly, Section 92.22 is amended to add Beach Community Development District to the list of community development districts.

Background Information: The proposed District 3 development district will cover approximately 782 acres bordered on the east by Hodges Boulevard, the south by Beach Boulevard, the north by Atlantic Boulevard, and the west by Kernan Boulevard. Planned use plans are for a mixed construction of 1,367 single family units, 932 multi-family units, and 300,000 square feet of commercial/retail space.
