Bill Summary: This bill amends Section 656.361.7, Ordinance Code, regarding the Downtown Design Review Committee, clarifying that terms are two-years in length for all members and begin on July 1^st.

Background Information: The terms of the appointed voting members of the Downtown Design Review Committee are currently two-years for two of the members and one-year for the other five members. This bill allows for two-year terms for all appointed members and establishes a term start date of July 1^st. In order to establish a stagger, three members will have even year terms and four members will have odd year terms. There is no restriction on the number of terms a member of the Downtown Design Review Committee may serve.
