Background Information: Section 154.207, Florida Statutes, provides that the members of the Health Facilities Authority are residents designated by the governing body. Mr. Hession received a master’s degree in human resources management from the University of Florida. He was originally appointed to the Jacksonville Health Facilities Authority in 2002 and has served continuously since then. Mr. Hession resides in the Southwood area within Council District #6.
