Bill Summary: The bill deletes Subsection k from Section 656.725 of the Ordinance Code.

Background Information: Subsection k stipulates that those adult entertainment facilities operating prior to November 10, 2005, but deemed to be nonconforming under the zoning code, could remain operating for five more years, until 2010. General Counsel believes that this section would be difficult to defend should it be challenged, which it probably would be.
