Background Information: The City acquired this 14-acre site for recreational purposes and determined that a Master Plan would be the most effective tool for determining the appropriate uses and structures within the park that will enable the park’s users to enjoy both passive and active recreation.  The Master Plan has been approved by the Director of Parks & Recreation and the District 2 Council Member.  Minor modifications to the Master Plan may be authorized by the Director if and when the proposes changes meet certain criteria and shall not be permitted or become effective until thirty (30) days after the changes are specified in writing by the Director, with a copy to the District Council Member.
