Bill Summary: This ordinance closes and abandons and/or disclaims a portion of Union Street East, a 70 FT. opened and improved right-of-way lying between Bridier Street and Martin Luther King Expressway, as recorded in Plat Book “Q”, Page 443, of the Current Public Records of Duval County, at the request of Millenium Homes, LLC, to allow for construction of single-family homes, subject to reservation of an all utilities easement over the closed right-of-way.

 

Background Information: The right-of-way is located in Council District 7.  The request to close and abandon the right-of-way was routed to all agencies having an interest and any objections have been resolved.
